1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Who’s Your Caddy (“WYC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a golf app and website operated by Ubiquity Inc. These terms apply to WYC’s website, app, accounts, rounds, social features, and paid offerings. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
By creating an account or using WYC, you agree to these terms. If you use WYC for an organization or event, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a minor and must provide any consent required by law.
Do not misuse the service, interfere with another golfer’s access, submit fraudulent scores or payment information, impersonate someone else, or upload content you do not have the right to use. Organizers are responsible for their event rules, participants, and any local course requirements.
3. Golf information is guidance
Distances, GPS positions, hole maps, weather, wind, elevation, handicap estimates, club suggestions, and rules guidance may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are aids to play—not guarantees, official rulings, certified measurements, or safety instructions. Follow course signage, local rules, the Committee’s decisions, and your own judgment. Keep your attention on your surroundings and do not use the app while driving a cart.
Third-party course imagery, maps, weather, and other information may change or be unavailable. We may correct or remove inaccurate information.
4. Your scores, posts, and sharing
You keep ownership of the scores, photos, messages, and other content you provide. You give WYC permission to host, process, display, and share that content as needed to operate the features you choose, such as a shared scorecard, league, leaderboard, or profile. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is needed for an event record, legal obligation, dispute, or backup cycle.
Information you submit to a shared round, event, or league may be visible to its participants or organizers. You control whether to share your live location during a group round. Anyone with a view-only follow link may see the live information made available through that link, so share it carefully.
5. Memberships, event access, and payment
Player is free. Paid Pro and Captain plans and eligible event or league access provide the features described at the time of purchase or grant. Event, league, and Pro-hosted access is limited to the qualifying round or event; it does not include personal Play Anywhere access. Prices, billing cadence, taxes, and any trial terms are shown before a purchase. Stripe processes payments; WYC will not ask you to email card details.
Recurring plans renew at the displayed interval until canceled. You can manage a paid membership through your WYC billing link or contact support@whosyourcaddy.net. Canceling stops the next renewal, does not automatically produce a refund, and ordinarily leaves paid features available through the period already paid for. Free Player access and saved history remain available, subject to these terms.
Changing membership tiers. A Pro-to-Captain upgrade takes effect after Stripe confirms payment of the prorated difference for the remainder of the current period. The new Captain rate applies at the next renewal. A Captain-to-Pro downgrade takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so Captain features remain available until then; the next renewal uses the Pro rate. The app shows the applicable quote and asks for confirmation before changing a tier. Contact support to change between monthly and annual billing.
Winter Mode is different from cancellation. When available and activated, it stops future payment collection until you choose to thaw out. Your paid features remain available until the end of the period you already paid for; after that you retain free Player access. Thawing out after that date starts a new paid period only after the new payment is confirmed. Winter Mode does not itself issue a refund.
Charity credits are different from refunds. An eligible paid golfer who participates in an approved, completed, verified charity event may receive a one-month-equivalent credit on a future membership invoice without losing current membership access or changing the renewal schedule. For an annual membership, that amount is one-twelfth of the annual membership price, not the monthly-plan price, and can carry to the next annual renewal. Eligibility and any limits will be disclosed with the event offer. A credit reduces a future bill; it is not a cash refund.
Refunds and cancellations are separate actions. You may request a customer-service refund through support. Refunds are reviewed under applicable law and the purchase terms. A refund alone does not cancel future renewals. If we also end a paid license as part of resolving a service issue, we will handle and communicate that as a separate account action.
6. Availability and changes
We may update features, plans, or these terms as the service develops. We will post the current terms here with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law. We may suspend access to protect golfers, the service, or payment systems, or where these terms are materially breached.
7. Third-party services
WYC relies on third parties for identity, payments, hosting, maps, course information, and weather. Their services can have separate terms and may not always be available. WYC does not control third-party courses, clubs, tournaments, or music services.
